Treat your mother to a special Mother’s Day meal at one of these restaurants. If you can’t decide, here are a several suggestions (not including the dozen flowers for mummy dearest).
Adrift By David Meyers
If you’re planning to take her for a stroll at Gardens by the Bay or shopping at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, drop in at Adrift by David Myers.
Check out dishes such as the Eggs Benedict ($22), Wagyu Cheeseburger ($28) and Wagyu Katsu Sandwich ($55). Mothers also get a glass of champagne.

If you have to celebrate Mother’s Day twice, take one mummy to Cafe Gavroche (above) on Saturday. Signature items from this French eatery include Oven-baked Ham & Gruyere Cheese Croque-Madame Sandwich ($18) and Gianduja Chocolate Cake and Caramel ($12). An additional treat for mums: the first glass of Rose Lychee Sangria (worth $15) is free.
Mums eat for free, up to $30, for every $100 spent.

Besides the spread of food, it’ll be interactive at Sky22. Express your love for your mother with a card from your table. The best entries win dining vouchers. There will also be a supervised kids’ activity corner.

The underrated Racines offers a brunch with French, international and refined local Chinese delicacies. Mothers will get a free sweet treat. There is also a special mums-only lucky draw to win a spa package worth $570.

The buffet dinner at Edge runs over the weekend, so it’s perfect for those who need to have two celebrations.
The spread includes Singaporean, Chinese, Malay, Indian and Japanese cuisine. Mothers get a free glass of Veuve Clicquot Champagne and a carnation.

It’s a Spanish spread of seasonal dishes such as white asparagus with chicken broth, roasted cherry tomato and marinated quail egg; and lobster and red snapper paella.
Desserts include cherries with white chocolate parfait, green apple sorbet and cranberry crumble; and orange blossom madeleines.
Seven-course lunch, $88 a person.
Esquina, 16 Jiak Chuan Rd
This halal restaurant is offering a one-day set menu featuring popular Thai dishes such as Fresh Rice Paper Roll with Prawns and Avocado, and Esarn Roast Kampong Chicken with Smoked Chili Sauce.
All mothers will be presented with a Thai floral garland.

Blue Jasmine, Level 5 Park Hotel Farrer Park, 10 Farrer Park Station Road
There will be dishes that should appeal to mums, such as slow-cooked emperor’s chicken infused with Chinese herbs and spices, and seafood bouillabaisse.
There will also be a lucky draw to a weekend staycation at Royal Plaza on Scotts’ Royal Club Premiere room.

This eight-course meal has dishes such as Four Heavenly Treasures (with cordyceps wanton and crab meat, salted egg fish skin, fragrant wine pork belly and Thai-style jellyfish) and double-boiled kampung chicken cordyceps soup.

The mother-daughter duo will showcase their favourite dishes inspired by their own home cooking. Tuck into the likes of poached praw and mango salad ($24), lime-glazed king salmon fillet ($36) and so much more.

York Hotel will offer a seven-course set menu that is available for dinner. The menu will feature executive chef Charlie Tham’s creations such as Deep-fried pork ribs in red fermented bean curd, chili crayfish and sirloin beef (or chicken).

The Song Of India
This Michelin star restaurant spoils mums for choice. The Song of India will be having a brunch buffet with a fabulous feast of Indian fare that includes the restaurant’s signature Malabar Fish Curry, where seabass is stewed in a fragrant curry made with coconut, tamarind and ground spices. Five lucky mothers will also be chosen to join Chef Mural at a masterclass where he will demonstrate how to create The Song of India’s star dish – Chicken Dum Briyani. Wolfgang Steakhouse, located inside the Quayside enclave, will be serving a three-course set menu for Mother’s Day. The meal starts with a fresh seafood platter, followed by Wolfgang’s renowned USDA prime black angus porterhouse steak and a New York style cheesecake served with berries.
From 11am onwards, a Hello Flowers booth will be stationed in Quayside, so you can pick up a bespoke floral arrangement for your mum. For every “Michelle” bouquet sold, $10 will go to New Life Stories, a non-profit organisation that supports pre-school education for children of incarcerated mothers. If you plan to dine at Quayside on Mother’s Day, you can pre-order a bouquet upon reservation and the Hello Flowers team will have it sent to the restaurant.

On May 13 and 14, the Coffee Lounge will serve up a dessert buffet with a range of durian pastries on top of its regular desserts. A live station highlight will be the a la minute durian pancakes. All guests will also enjoy piping hot comforting bowls traditional Taiwanese porridge paired with an extensive selection of Asian delights like braised pork belly with dark soya sauce, stir-fried kang kong with sambal and fried omelette with chye poh preserved vegetables.
