Cold brews have been all the hype in Singapore recently, and understandably so, given Singapore’s relentless heat.
What’s the difference between a cold brew and an iced coffee? In a nutshell, the former is brewed cold – time, rather than heat, is used to extract the coffee’s sugars, oils, and caffeine, yielding a less bitter, smoother drink – whereas the former is brewed as regular coffee and poured over ice.
Check out our top picks for cold brews in Singapore.
An academy, roastery, and cafe in one (hence the name!), trust the folks at A.R.C Coffee to brighten up your day with these easy-drinking cold brews, whimsically bottled in a lightbulb glass.
The selection changes every other month — reason enough to keep revisiting — but whatever the brew, rest assured you’re in Singapore National Barista Champion, John Ryan Ting’s good hands.

We love their healthy juices, but few know they do cold brews, too.
The ionised water used during the cold brew process gives the coffee a pristine quality. Couple that with the fact that there’s no added sugar, this guilt-free bottle allows the flavour of the organic coffee beans to take centrestage.
Size doesn’t matter — this little bottle proves it all.
Pour it into a coup of chilled milk for a creamy cuppa, or, if it were up to us, we’d pair it with coconut water for a refreshing medium-bodied caffeine kick.
Plus, we love that the cafe shares its space with a florist — Dawn Q Floral Design — as you’ll instantly recognise when the aroma of fresh coffee and blossoming florals greet you as you step in.

If you’re up for something different, try Habitat Coffee’s green tea cold matcha coffee.

We don’t disagree with the name; neither can we reject its request. Light-bodiet yet luscious, this bottle of magic certainly delivers its promises.
While you’re there, go wild with all things coffee with the espresso beef stew or if you’ve got a sweet tooth, the berry ricotta hotcakes is a must-try.
