ON COTTON & SYNTHETIC
Dishwashing liquid works a treat as a first step. Then machine wash at 40 C with a gentle detergent.
ON CARPET
With white paper towels, blot up as much moisture as possible. Spray the area with an instant spot and stain remover and wait one to five minutes before blotting away gently.
ON COTTON & SYNTHETIC
Dab with a cotton swab moistened with ammonia, then handwash in warm soapy water.
ON SILK
Smooth a piece of tape over, then tear off. The lippie should stick to the tape.
ON CARPET
Spray on some multi-purpose lubricant oil (you can get them from supermarkets like Fairprice). With a wet sponge, rub for 30 seconds, then dry with a clean white cloth or napkin.
ON COTTON & SYNTHETIC
Blot excess moisture before applying a few drops of methylated spirits. Allow to evaporate, then gently machine wash on a 40 C cycle.
ON SILK
After blotting, rub a small amount of washing detergent on stain, then machine wash on delicate cycle.
ON CARPET
Scrape excess off with a blunt knife. Cover stain with baking soda, allow to absorb, then vacuum up residue. Blot with dishwashing liquid in warm water, then sponge with cold water.
