We know coffee is the nectar of the gods and the life force of the busy woman.
Coffee makers are then the important arsenals to fuel the daily grind. The water tank of these machines, when not given a proper scrub and clean, could become a good breeding ground for mold and bacteria.

The bed is made, the sheets are washed. But have you freshened up your mattress?
Seeing how we spend one-third of our lives sleeping on our bed, don’t forget to give some TLC to your mattress. To tackle odours naturally, sprinkle some baking soda over it for an hour or so before vacuuming it up.
Basking your pillows in the sun is a great way to plump up your pillows easily. By sunning them, the moisture that has been collected over the nights of use will evaporate, leaving you with fluffier pillows! The other added benefit is that the sun is also effective at killing bacteria and dust mites.
The handy dishwasher can be a time-saver, but without a thorough cleaning it can also be a good breeding ground for nasty mould and bacteria. Scraps of old food may also build up inside your dishwasher so clean out the filter of your dishwasher if necessary.
As you fan out your time to clean the different sections of the house, remember to give your ceiling fan a good clean. Dust can accumulate on the blades over time, so give your fan a break by cleaning it down with a microfiber cloth.

You might have washed the curtains, but don’t forget the window panes. As dirt and dust may accumulate within the crevices of windows, take time scrub and air them out.

To keep your house guests warm this Lunar New Year, air-con usage is indispensable. As part of your spring cleaning, clear out the air-con filter. Try vacuuming or washing the filter with warm water to remove the accumulated dust.
