#1 Fringe braid
Keep your hair out of eyes by braiding it and then securing with stylish hair pins.
#2 Mohawk braid
We love this unique braid hairstyle on actress and beauty queen Olivia Culpo.
#4 Side fishtail
Actress Margot Robbie wore this gorgeous fishtail braid to the Suicide Squad press conference in Miami. It’s basically creating a fishtail braid using the hair from the sides of your head and then tying them back. Perfect for a casual date or a wedding!
#5 Under braid + topknot
This beautiful creation also belongs to Margot Robbie. Also known as reverse dutch braid, it only takes a bit of practice to achieve:
1. First, flip your hair upside down, then brush through and prep with a spray to give your hair a better hold.
2. Then, starting at the nape of your neck, begin braiding as you would a dutch braid.
3. Stop when you reach at or just above your ears, then twist the remaining strands into an easy top knot.
4. Secure with an elastic band and bobby pins!
#6 Crown braid
Pretty Little Liars actress Shay Mitchell’s elegant crown braid (or halo braid) is total hair royalty. It’s perfect for beating the heat and looking chic at the same time. Get the tutorial here.
#8 Waterfall braids

#10 Sectioned braids
Sectioned ponytails are a hot trend this year, so why not add braids into the mix? For this side-swept style, you’ll need to first deepen the side part, then start with a french braid down the side of your head. Go here for the full tutorial.

#11 Spiral braided ponytail
Another gorgeous way to update the basic ponytail is to wrap a thin braid around it, like so. Simply leave a section of hair out when you tie your hair up, braid it then twist it in a spiral down the length of your ponytail. Tres chic!
#12 Accent braids
This one’s for the minimalists – for a more subtle flair, try adding one or two smaller braids in your hair, just to add a bit of detail to your ‘do. It’s simple, fast and definitely makes a statement.
#13 Loose bohemian twists
This carefree, undone hairstyle just screams boho chic, doesn’t it? Loosen up the braids with your fingers to give it more texture, you definitely don’t want to keep it too tidy.
#14 Short hair braid
It’s an easy way to give short and straight hair some dimension and texture.
