Ladies with monolids, stay away from lining your lower lash line. Not only does it make your eyes look smaller, lining your lower lash line could lead to smudging and overall messy look.
Instead, opt for mascara on your lower lash line or get eyelash extensions if you’re looking for something a little more long-term. Longer lashes help to balance out the thickness (from the eyeliner on your upper lash lines) and opens your eyes up even more. Plus, it’s just so cute!
Lift your eyes with a sexy cat eye. That little eyeliner flick does wonders at helping to lift your eyes and draw attention to them too.
You’ll also want to apply your eyeshadow in a gradient so as to brighten up your eyes a little more.
Finish with a coat of mascara on both the top and bottom lash lines.
If you’ve got round eyes, you’re lucky! If you’re looking to elongate and lengthen its appearance, focus on the outer corners of your eyes. Apply darker shades of eyeshadow on the outer corners. For eyeliner, opt for a cat eye or a thicker flick that helps to lengthen eyes.
With almond eyes, what you’ll want to do is start with a thin line in the middle of the eye then gradually thicken it and have it end in a thicker flick towards the end. This helps to accentuate your almond eyes and give it more life.
Tightlining helps to open your eyes up and add depth. However, if you’re nervous about lining your lash line, try to get your eyeliner as close as possible to your lash line instead. Open your eyes up even further with mascara on your lashes.
