From giving your look a subtle lift to a sexy party ‘do, these hairstyles are super easy to replicate from home:
From Kate Spade to Salvatore Ferragmo, the basic low ponytail graced the runways with its elegant simplicity. But Suno took this classic everyday hairstyle to the next level by wrapping a chic velvet ribbon down the length of the ponytail.
It’s a creative and charming way to update the ponytail, and is totally wearable for parties and events! It’s also so easy to achieve.
Step 1: Pull your hair back into a low ponytail and secure with an elastic band
Step 2: Starting from the top of the ponytail, start wrapping the ribbon around your hair in an overlapping fashion, criss-crossing for greater effect and hold.
Step 3: Once you reach the desired length, about 3/4 down, tie the ribbon.
Step 4: Use your fingers to loosen hair around the nape of your neck for a more natural look.

Channel effortless Parisian chic, as seen on models from Alberta Ferretti (above), Versace, BCBGMaxAzria (see next) and Balmain, with soft waves cascading down from a trendy centre part.
If you have naturally curly or permed hair, Monica Tan, Director of KIMAGE, recommends doing the following:
Step 1: After washing your hair, wait or blow-dry until hair is semi-dry and spray a styling mist to prep.
Step 2: Divide your hair into two sections and braid each one. Leave to dry.
Step 3: Once dry, loosen the braids and run your fingers through it to achieve that tousled, wavy effect.
If you hair is naturally super straight or rebonded, Monica suggests using a good curling iron on dry hair, and follow with a hair oil to get soft waves.
Alternatively, you could also do the braid method and sleep on it overnight, only loosening the braids the next morning.

The side part got a reinvention at Dior (above), Mugler (see next) and Calvin Klein. It goes deep and is for the woman unafraid to make a statement. If you’ve always had your hair parted a certain way, try this easy trick to give your look a subtle refresh.
This simple hair trick gives the illusion of more voluminous hair and helps bring balance to asymmetrical features. It’s also, thankfully, flattering for all face shapes!

The wet look left an impression at the Giambattista Valli (see next) and Paco Rabanne (above) shows, but slicked back in a way that’s neat and deliberate, not fresh-out-of-the-shower disheveled.
To work this ultra-modern look, Director of Salon Vim, John Tham, suggests the following method:
Step 1: Section your hair into two horizontal parts.
Step 2: Spray some hair mousse onto your hand
Step 3: Starting with the bottom section and working upwards, use a comb to apply the mousse onto your hair in 1-1.5 inch sections.
Step 4: If you have an oval-shaped face, divide hair into a centre parting. If you have a round/square/heart-shaped face, follow a 7/3 or 6/4 parting.
Step 5: Tuck hair behind your ears and use a hairdryer on cool to lightly set the mousse and dry it. (You can also use a bobby pin to hold the hair behind your ears if needed.)
The runways sparkled with a festive assortment of hair accessories, be it small jeweled hairpins like at San Andreas (above) or large barrettes and diadems like Alexander McQueen (see next).
They were piled onto messy updos, or added to loose braids – the key idea here is an imperfect, easygoing vibe.
