Take your relationship to new heights (and feast like kings) at the world’s highest urban microbrewery, LeVel33. The specially-crafted V-day menu by chef ArChan explores the four flavours – sweet, sour, bitter and spicy – with a five-course meal that starts with a sweet amuse-bouche.
“Sour” comes in the form of a fresh salad of raw heirloom tomatoes and a tangy tamarind, palm sugar and soy dressing. “Bitter” is a bitter gourd broth made with the restaurant’s own katsuoboshi and wheat beer dashi, paired with fresh seabass.
Then, the menu heats things up with a “spicy” course of sous vide and grilled short ribs for sharing, which comes with a spicy seasoning and piquant pepper sauce. A slice of sweet Honey Cake rounds up the meal.

3. The Mast' of Mozzarella & Co.
Cheese lovers, rejoice! A four-course dinner menu at this authentically-Italian restaurant treats you and your partner to a free mozzarella-making demonstration at 6.45pm, where you can see first-hand how chefs braid and knot the cheese.
After this tantalising show, you’ll settle down to a delightful meal that starts with a Trio of Burrata (pictured above) accompanied with crisp bread and a glass of prosecco each. Afterwards, relish comforting tomato soup before tucking into the main course – a hearty 400g T-Bone Steak Florentine with fresh porcini cream sauce. Served with a glass of wine, of course.

4. The Butcher's Wife
This modern European bistro in Tiong Bahru is serving up a gluten-free three-course dinner menu this Valentine’s Day. For starters, there’s cured beetroot salmon with compressed fennel, burnt orange and horseradish. This is followed by a grilled Black Onyx beef shoulder with potato gratin and truffle jus, before you end the evening with a coconut mousse dessert with passionfruit, lime and roasted pineapple.

5. Open Farm Community
Escape the city and head to this idyllic restaurant with a 3,000 sq ft garden that you and your partner can enjoy a romantic stroll in. Open Farm Community is offering a five-course set menu for dinner this V-day, where you can expect a delicious array of dishes which include fresh harvests from their garden. But they’re also serving up unique fare, including Pekin duck tartare with charcoal you tiao and smoked duck jelly, as well as rendang brisket with roasted potato emulsion.
And there’s not just one but three desserts, including a sugar cane infused with lime and mint, locally-grown strawberries and chamomile cream; and a number with passionfruit, roselle and prosecco.

6. Le Binchotan
An intriguing and artistic meal awaits you at Le Binchotan — its chef-owner Jeremmy Chiam has specially come up with a menu just for Valentine’s Day. Dishes have been created and plated with much detail and reflection, with an aim to pay tribute to both the sweet and the bitter aspects of a relationship. Every dish has been inspired by specific moments and is a re-creation of his memories of what love has been, can be, and still is. Expect the bold flavours that this French-Japanese spot is known for.
Courses include “U n I” — a cheeky salute that plays on the name of the main ingredient, uni. It’s a shooter glass of cauliflower mousse layered with dashi jelly and topped with generous lobes of fresh sweet uni, a flavourful dish inspired by chawanmushi. Other dishes include a comforting chicken consommé and a “TLC” main course of juicy grilled Toriyama wagyu striploin paired with Leeks and a sweet onion Compote. Dessert is a “BitterSweet” affair, with a smooth rich dark chocolate crémeux served with a scoop of tangy yoghurt sorbet, and garnished with a sweet and smoky puree made from binchotan-grilled beetroots.

Known for its home-style Italian cuisine made with carefully sourced ingredients, an authentic and elegant Italian meal at Nostra Cucina will show your better half how much you love them. Feel like you’re a character in The Great Gatsby when you dine at The Black Swan, where its elegant marble floors and tables, art deco and warm light evoke an old world glamour. If both of you enjoy the rich flavours of sweet, sour and spicy, book a meal with Thai restaurant Blue Jasmine and draw closer to one another by tucking into dishes meant for two. If both you and your date are meat-lovers who wouldn’t say no to a hearty and flavourful meal, consider one-Michelin starred steak restaurant CUT by Wolfgang Puck. 14. Lawry’s The Prime Rib Singapore
Offering a hearty six-course meal, Lawry’s lavish Valentine’s Day set dinner will have you sinking blissfully into dreamland after dinner. Seafood lovers will love the first three courses of amuse bouche, soup and appetiser, which are a concoction of seafood-themed dishes that include crab, lobster, salmon and scallops. For main course you have a choice between seafood again or beef. The seafood platter is a delightful Baked Cajun Lobster Tail accompanied by Miso Salmon steak and Carabinero Prawn served with Teriyaki Nameko Mushroom sauce.
But Lawry’s is renowned for its beef, so we highly recommend picking the delicious Prime Rib of Beef. A substantial 180g of roasted USDA prime rib is accompanied by creamy mashed potato, Yorkshire pudding and a choice of creamed corn, creamed spinach or buttered peas. Oh, and there’s whipped cream horseradish too for that extra punch. For desserts, it’s a trio of delectables that consist of Manjari chocolate, banana and praline mousse, Häagen-Dazs tiramisu ice-cream on a bed of almond crumble and strawberry mousse served with fresh berries and raspberry coulis. 19. Bread Street Kitchen
If you want something more quintessential, head to Bread Street Kitchen and tuck into a delicious English meal that is nothing short of the high standards expected of its celebrity chef-owner Gordon Ramsay. A four-course set menu has been planned — from an appetiser of Irish oyster with chives and soy-ginger dressing and premium starters such as the King crab and salmon ceviche with crushed avocado, chili, lime and coriander, to Gordon’s famed Beef fillet Wellington and a strawberry cheesecake tart with rhubarb glaze to end the meal.

The charming Antoinette is offering a three-course menu that is both satisfying and romantic. Start off your meal with L’Amour, a cocktail with sweet raspberry puree, Calpis and a pop of sparkling wine, followed by a starter of pumpkin velouté with sautéed crab, levain toast and onion ash which adds an aromatic charred note to the luscious soup. Next is a refreshing cured salmon tartare with creamy sherry vinaigrette, pickled vegetables and ikura before your choice of mains – either a pepper crusted tenderloin with beetroot potato puree, seasonal vegetables and citrusy yuzu jus; or a lighter option of Wild Mushroom Risotto with prawns glazed with classic French Madeira sauce, parmesan chips and squid ink rusk.
The highlight of the evening is (of course) dessert — an Instagram-worthy and oh-so-gorgeous shared edible bouquet, the La Rose. Beginning with a complimentary glass of Krug Grand Cuvee and snacks, the set menu swiftly moves onto nature’s major aphrodisiac — oysters, decorated with citrus pomelo and ponzu. Next stop is baked beetroot, followed by Scottish scallop with smoked Iberico broth. The view alone makes this place a fantastic choice for your romantic meal. Set in the peak of Mount Faber and surrounded by lush greenery, you can eat and look out towards the sunset over Sentosa and the harbour. Try and get there before 6.30pm to watch the sun go down together.
As for the food, you’re treated to a four course set menu that begins with a special welcome cocktail — Dusk is known for its ingenious cocktail menu — followed by a trio seafood display that includes lobster, octopus and oysters.
Next is a soup made from sea scallop and chorizo sausage, followed by a choice of main course of beef tenderloin or grilled king prawn, both served with truffle mash potatoes. The dessert?
