Get up to four free full size samples delivered to your door Every. Single. Day
It’s free to sign up at Singtel’s www.Samplestore.com and you can choose from hundreds of hair and beauty items, food products and home care launches. SingPost delivers the samples to your home.
The catch? You must post reviews of the products on their website – this gains you points you use to redeem your next lot of free samples. If you have enough “points” in your wallet you can checkout up to four items every day, but you can only get one free sample of each item.
Information on the samples varies – some have really good info on how to use the products, others have just a few words. So it’s a “ sampler beware” kind of situation.
Many beauty and home brands in Singapore will also deliver free samples to you – as long as you register and give them your name and details.
For example you can get a free pack of Attack laundry detergent here or a free sample pack of Cetaphil soap-free cleanser.
For most brands you have to actually check their website or Facebook page… sigh…which is a drag. Or see a selection of new offers collated by blogger Geri at her food and travel blog www.springtomorrow.com .
Many stores in Singapore offer freebies and gifts if you join their membership programmes, so get googling.
We like the freebies at Lancome beauty and Tang’s department store which gives you a free gift on your birthday, free alteration on fashion you buy at the store and free home delivery on any purchase over $100
If you’re a Beauty Pass member at Sephora you get a free gift during your birthday month and you can also claim one free brow waxing service during your birthday month at Benefit Brow Bar at Sephora outlets – which saves you an eyebrow-raising $22.
How about a wild birthday date night? On your actual birthday date you get free entry to Singapore Zoo (save $33/adult, $22/child), River Safari (Save $30/adult, $20/child) or Night Safari (Save $45/adult, $30/child) – the only catch is that you need at least one other paying guest. For extra LOLs you also get a cute badge that says “I’m having a wild birthday!”
What is better than Free Pizza? We’ll tell you: Free Pizza delivered to your sofa. You can get a free $20 birthday voucher for Spizza pizza if you join the Spizza for Friends Reward Programme by making an online order or dining in-store, and registering your birthday date.
As well as getting up to 15 per cent off your bill, you get a $20 voucher, valid for a 10 inch pizza delivered to your home.
You get special discounts on your birthday if you go on a guided walking tour to bars and nightclubs with Singapore Pub Crawl, which has won TripAdvisor certificate of excellence in 2016 and 2017.
Run by two party-loving dudes from Singapore, Prices vary from $30 for a stroll through four bars and one nightclub along Boat Quay, up to $65 for a pub crawl and visit to the BeerFest Asia in Singapore 18-20 August. The package includes free shots at every venue, exclusive discounts on drinks, entry to the Beerfest and a Party Bus to get you there and back.
Enjoy a free birthday set menu worth $68. At Resorts World Sentosa. You can pick from a range of restaurants there, including Feng Shui Inn, Forest森, Fratelli – Trattoria • Pizzeria, Osia Steak & Seafood Grill, Syun, and Tangerine.
You need to reserve at least 24 hours in advance, and present your birthday e-voucher and membership card while ordering and paying. See here for details.
If theme parks are your thing, you get one free ticket to major attractions on Sentosa on your birthday – if you book another three tickets. That’s $68 saved if you and three friends go to Universal Studios Singapore Themepark.
At Adventure Cove Waterpark your one free tickets saves your party $38 while S.E.A. Aquarium saves you all $30. See the details of birthday freebies here
