This year, why not take charge of your well-being by trying something new that will enhance your life? Be spoilt for choice at The Star Vista, where you can engage in a variety of inspiring activities that are beyond your run-of-the-mill shopping mall experience. Fire up your creativity with a host of exciting workshops, participate in free group exercise classes and check out the latest dining and fashion establishments. Perfect for family bonding or for some much-needed me-time!
Who knows? You might even pick up a new hobby along the way. Don’t miss out on these six fun experiences everyone can enjoy at The Star Vista:
Lemuel Chocolate, a homegrown bean-to-bar chocolate maker, takes you behind the curtains to learn how their delicious single-origin bars are crafted. Each factory tour costs just $5 and you can redeem any purchases after the tour. There are two tours a day at 1.30PM and 6.30PM, but don’t wait because slots are limited and on a first-come-first-serve basis. Don’t stop there — their workshops are coming soon and they will announce their schedules and programs on their Instagram and Facebook pages so stay tuned!
Lemuel Chocolate is located at #B1-31.
Hot days call for something cold and soothing, but why stop at regular ice cream? At Poppy Pops Cafe & Dessert Bar, you can create your own gourmet popsicle by choosing from an array of delicious toppings. Also keep an eye out for ice cream workshops where you and the kids can learn how to create your own gelato from scratch.
Follow The Star Vista’s facebook page for announcements on any upcoming classes. Be sure to book your slot in advance as the limited spaces tend to sell out quickly.
Poppy Pops Cafe & Dessert Bar is located at #B1-42.
Whether it’s date night or dinner with the kids, this local steak house has something to satiate everyone. From humble coffeeshop beginnings, iSTEAKS has grown into a thriving and bustling diner serving up delicious meats sourced from the finest butcheries on the island, while still keeping it value-for-money (you can get ribeye steaks for under $30!). Their soups and side dishes are all cooked from scratched with the fresh ingredients too.
iSTEAKS is located at #01-42.
Need a spicy fix? Pop by Xiao Man Niu, a well-known Chinese hotpot restaurant, and treat yourself to their signature Mala Xiang Guo. The fiery dish features their unique mala paste that incorporates more than 23 Chinese herbs and spices, but don’t worry, the spiciness level can be adjusted according to your taste and tolerance level.
Xiao Man Niu is located at #01-41.
Treat yourself to classic “old school” hawker fare in a cosy environment at Sin Song Kee Noodle House, where all of their scrumptious fish balls, meat balls and fish dumpling noodles are still made by hand (a rarity these days!). This Star Vista outlet is also the stall’s flagship kiosk concept, too.
