The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s third little prince or princess will arrive in April 2018, Kensington Palace confirmed on Twitter.
The beloved couple have not yet confirmed the exact due date, however there’s a chance the newest royal addition could share their birthday with their great-granny the Queen, who will celebrate her 92nd on 21 April.
Or, if the royal bub were to arrive later in the month, their grand entrance could coincide with the Cambridges’ seventh wedding anniversary on 29 April.

The 35-year-old has been forced to miss a number of important events – including her son’s first day at school – owing to extreme morning sickness or ‘hyperemesis gravidarum.’
The same nasty condition she battled while pregnant with four-year-old son, George and two-year-old daughter, Charlotte.
Despite continuing to suffer, the Duchess recently joined her husband and brother-in-law Prince Harry at Paddington Station, where they visited the cast and crew from the upcoming film Paddington 2.
The golden royal trio were greeted by the film’s famous furry friend and appeared to get on swimmingly.
In fact, the expectant mum even mustered up the energy for an impromptu dance with the beloved story book character.
The Duchess twirled, sidestepped and bebopped in a blush pink dress by Orla Kiely.
The knee-length look featured a black waist strap, which accentuated her growing baby bump, and was accented with a black clutch bag and block heels.
Kate and Wills announced last month that they are expecting their third little prince or princess together.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child,” Kensington Palace said.
“The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.”
While morning sickness is normal for up to 85 percent of women, nausea and vomiting can be a tricky thing to conquer as you try to go about your day.
Here are some quick cures to help ease the pain:
Carbohydrates like bread, soda crackers, mashed potatoes and dry toast have also been found to help combat nausea.
To quell morning sickness before it starts, try keeping a few crackers by your bed and slowly eat a few before you get up in the morning.
Food may be the last thing on your mind when you’ve been feeling nauseous all day, but an empty stomach often worsens the symptoms.
Eat frequent but small meals that are packed with nutrients but on the bland side as acidic, fatty or fried foods can further irritate your digestive system.
Ginger is often used as a traditional remedy to settle the stomach and alleviate queasiness. Look for drinks made with real ginger or try grating fresh ginger into hot tea. Gingersnap cookies and ginger candies can also help.
Ice-cream or cold, slushy drinks like frozen lemonade are great options to soothe your stomach while taking in fluids. Try making refreshing strawberry and peach ice pops to relieve your nausea while taking in folate, B vitamins and vitamin A.
Drinking plenty of fluids throughout your pregnancy is important, but even more so if you’ve been unable to keep anything down.
Try flavouring your water with lemon or lime if you’re having difficulty meeting an eight-glass per day requirement.
Many women also find relief from acupressure wristbands like those that ease motion sickness, which are sold at most drugstores.
Acupuncture has also long been used to successfully alleviate morning sickness, or all-day nausea accompanying pregnancy but always check with your doctor before trying anything new.
If your home remedies aren’t working or your symptoms become worse, don’t hesitate to give your doctor a call.
Symptoms that have intensified can be more difficult to treat, so don’t try to tough it out.
