According to her video interview with Shape US, Meghan relies on green juice to keep her energy levels up and running while on set of her TV show, Suits
“Trying to go for coffee and things like that only end up hurting you at the end. So, to get a really good natural source of energy like a great green juice or even Kombucha, some thing to just give me a natural pick me up,” she tells Shape. Meghan credits her “hippie-dippy” California roots for wanting to keep things natural.
In the same interview with Shape, Meghan says she loves running and thinks that it’s important for everyone to find a workout routine that really resonates with them.
Meghan also feels that running helps her clear her head and keeps her in shape. She also does hot yoga and pilates on her own using DVDs at home.
While she may eat clean on weekdays, “mainly veggies and fish”, Meghan says all bets are off on weekends.
“I think if you deprive yourself, you’re going to want it more. It’s all about balance. Eating really good during the week and then treating yourself to whatever it is you want during the weekends.”
In an interview with Women’s Health UK, Meghan admits that she loves giving herself the luxury of downtime. After all, when you’re doing 16 hour work days, downtime is something you end up craving a lot of.
Meghan says she takes an hour to just decompress at home, watch mindless TV and snuggle with her pets. We feel you, girl!
When quizzed about her beauty secrets, Meghan told Shape US that she’s a huge believer on staying hydrated. “Your skin will look better, everything will look really good!”
