We love cooking stir-fried dishes for our friends and family but cleaning up the wok afterward is a whole other story! Even if you’re lucky enough to have a dishwasher, dealing with stuck-on grease and burned bits of food on your beloved pots and pans is definitely one of the worst chores ever.

But this clever trick will ensure you never have to scrub a wok, pot or pan for the rest of your days — and all you need is a dryer sheet!

All you need to do is put your dirty wok, pot or pan at the bottom of the sink and fill it with warm water and some dish soap. Throw in a dryer sheet or two and wait an hour, and you’re done.

The grime will come right off of your hardworking pans with minimal scrubbing, if any. If you don’t need the dishes to be clean right away, leave the dryer sheet in the pot or pan overnight, and it will work even better by the morning.
