Come November 8 2016, Americans everywhere will decide whether Democratic candidate, Hillary Clinton or Republican candidate Donald Trump will be the next president of the United States of America.
From Beyonce to Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, our favourite celebs everywhere have revealed who they’ll be voting for as election day approaches. Scroll through your Instagram feed and you’ll realise that plenty of celebrities have been urging American citizens everywhere to get out and vote while spawning hashtags such as #ImWithHer and #Trump.
Here are some of our favourite celebrities and who they’ll be voting for in this historic election.
The comedian and actress took to Twitter to publicly endorse Hillary with the photo above.
The photo was accompanied by the caption “#ImWithHer remember what thumper said everyone” which media outlets have assumed was a reference to classic Disney film, Bambi where a character named Thumper famously said, “If can’t say something nice, don’t say nothing at all.”

4. Jamie Lee Curtis and Lady Gaga
A supporter since the beginning of Hilary’s campaign, Lady Gaga performed at a benefit where tickets were sold at US$1,000.
Recently, actress Jamie Lee Curtis and Gaga took a photo (above) to further confirm their endorsement of Hillary on Twitter.

5. Ellen Degeneres
On her talk show back in 2015, Ellen told Hillary, “I think you’re as smart as can be, I think you are qualifed, I think you stand for everything that I want in a president.”
Back in 2015 when he appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show, the singer famously said, “It’s time for a woman to be in there. Women think about things in a holistic way, it’s not so individual.”
He further endorsed Hillary by saying, “I’m saying I’m happy to be a man, but I love women. The thing is, if we had somebody looking after our country thought about things a whole, I just feel like it would just be different.”
7. Katy Perry
One of Hillary’s most vocal supporters, Katy performed at the Democratic National Committee when Hillary was accepting her nomination for presidency.
Katy has also campaigned hard for Hillary and even went as her for Halloween!
Wearing an HRC shirt (which stands for Hillary Rhode Clinton) designed by Tanya Taylor, actress Emma Roberts proudly declared that she’ll be voting for Hillary on Instagram. The post was accompanied by hashtags like #MadeForHistory and #ImWithHer.

Another avid supporter since day one, Miley Cyrus has been following the campaign trail and has slowly counted down to election day by sharing facts about Hillary on Instagram.

A famous businessman before his presidential trail, Donald Trump is known for his no-nonsense mindset.

The 90s hearthrob and younger brother of Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter declared on Twitter that he’ll be voting for Trump in the elections.
Social media personality and model Tila Tequila took to YouTube to explain why she’s voting for Donald. “I realised that I was being a hypocrite and judging him the way people were judging me in the past.”
