2. Industrial look
Who says pendant lamps are only for dining or living rooms? It adds some visual flair to the space, and you can play around with a variety of lampshades and designs. A wall-mounted open shelving style gives the bathroom a contemporary designer touch, and makes everything within easy reach. Just make sure you keep the space tidy!
3. Get creative with it
A personalised look can be achieved by turning a piece of loose furniture, such as a sideboard or a table, into a vanity. It also saves you from having to design the counter! You can repurpose/upcycle an old sideboard by giving it a new lick of paint and it’ll look good as new.

Create a relaxing, chic vanity counter that just screams mod appeal with greenery, a decorative mirror and a charming light fixture. Keep things simple with neutral colours that give off a calm vibe. A vanity counter that’s integrated into a full-height cabinet is a great way to maximise space for compact bathrooms or open-concept spaces. You can even consider adding panels for a hideaway design. A mosaic tiled backsplash adds flair!

6. In a corner
Tuck the washbasin in the corner when you don’t have the luxury of space. Just make sure it isn’t positioned too close to the wall, such that you can stand comfortably and wash your face without knocking your shoulders or elbows.
7. Simply streamlined
With its sleek and streamlined profile, this simple wall-mounted counter is great for minimalist looks, and does not take up floor area. Storage can come in the form of customised mirrored cabinets above the vanity.
