3 New Ways With Ketchup as a Condiment that Everyone will Love

Try these three new ways to enjoy ketchup – you'll see this saucy old kitchen fave in a versatile new light

When you think of ketchup, you think of burgers and kids’ foods. But don’t underestimate this staple sauce as a taste enhancer, enjoy it in these easy new recipes:

1. TOMATO SALSA Combine 1/3 cup ketchup, 2 tbsps malt vinegar, 1 tbsp shredded coriander, 1 diced avocado and 6 halved cherry tomatoes.
GREAT WITH: Chips, burrito, tortilla, pasta, baguette.

2. PRAWN COCKTAIL Mix 1/2 cup mayo, 1/4 cup light sour cream, a good squeeze of ketchup, lemon juice and a dash of Tabasco.
GREAT WITH: Bread, salad, seafood platter, potato wedges, grilled salmon or dory.

3. JAMAICAN MARINADE Combine 1/3 cup ketchup, 2 tbsps soy sauce, 2 crushed garlic cloves, 1 tsp jerk seasoning and lemon juice.
GREAT WITH: Meatballs, sausages, steak, scrambled eggs.
