  1. Cafe Insadong

Serving up generous bowls of Bingsu at affordable prices, Cafe Insadong is a cosy cafe tucked in bustling Chinatown where only true Bingsu connoisseurs know to seek out. They go there for authentic, artfully presented bowls like the mango one shown here. Be sure to try their very popular sweet potato Bingsu if you visit.

2. Ice Lab

One of the hippest Bingsu joints in town, Ice Lab – opened by Korean comedian/actor Shin Jung-Hwan – lets you feel like you just stepped into a K-drama cafe. Korean boys in white caps and coats serve up frosty bowls which provide a sweet, cooling relief after a tiring day shopping on the streets of Orchard Road. We highly recommend the superb Chocolate Bingsu.

Ice Lab is located at: 1st floor Orchard Shopping Centre

3. O’ma Spoon

Known for its nice selections of milk-based Bingsu, this cafe also has some amazing toast creations to try. Even though the Bingsu here tastes not as sweet as those from some other places, it still has a rich, creamy smoothness to each spoonful. Try the Injeolmi Bingsu, which is epic with a mountain of soy bean powder.

O’ma Spoon is at: #04-20/32, 313 @ Somerset, 313 Orchard Road.

4. Nunsongyee

Many consider this place as one of the best for authentic Bingsu. Whether you agree or not, you must agree that the Snow White, a heavenly treat with white chocolate and cheese plus biscuit bits, is something out of this world. For those not so adventurous, go for the Mixed Berries or Black Sesame which are just as good.

Nunsongyee is located at: #01-04, 45 Burghley Drive

8. Snowman Desserts

Great flavour selections and amazing presentation. The Melon Bingsu is one of the must-tries here. The balls of rock melon are really refreshing and coupled with the Korean soft serve ice-cream in the middle makes this truly memorable.
