With her wedding to Prince Harry on the horizon, Meghan Markle has bid goodbye to her home in Toronto, Canada, in preparation for her big move to London. The stylish actress and humanitarian, 36, lived in the spacious and gorgeously decorated three-bedroom house during the filming of Suits , and it’s where she spent a large amount of time relaxing with her two pet dogs as well as beau Harry when he came to visit.

In this picture, her dog, Bogart, greets her as she returns home. We love the all-white walls and staircase, matched with light wood parquet flooring that give her home a breezy, airy vibe. A simple and cosy striped rug is a great way to make the entryway feel more comfy and cozy too!
Her dining space features accent pieces that make it look expensive: the marble table top, ornate vintage-looking mirror (which also helps to visually enhance the place) and fuzzy throws draped stylishly over the dining chairs. Keep the space clean and uncluttered with a simple centrepiece – a vase of fresh blooms and a scented candle is one way to do it.
We also love the cluster of pendant lamps!
Meghan keeps her white sofa cosy and chic with matching white linen cushions and throws from Canadian label Pamuk & Co.
Here’s what it looks like with the lights turned on! The pendant lamps and warm lighting really help enhance the atmosphere in Meghan’s home.
Instead of a conventional coffee table, Meghan uses a distressed vintage chest that adds tons of flair. On top, she decorates with fresh blooms (of course) and coffee table books that showcase her personality. Below the table is a round rug that adds to the cosy atmosphere.
A vignette is a grouping of small objects displayed in a stylish manner, and it’s something Meghan does very well. For this sideboard, she’s placed a stack of books with a reed diffuser on top, as well as a black tray on which sits a vase of peonies and a Diptyque candle. Don’t forget some wall art, too!
Simple, white frames exude a minimalistic vibe, but what stands out here are the stacks of colour-coordinated books that double up as decor and plant stands. It’s a clever way to keep your library organised and within reach, while making sure your room still looks good.
Much like the rest of her home, her bedroom features a white palette that makes her space look extremely clean and hotel-like, from the curtains to bedding. Meghan also has a large and minimalist “bird cage” style mirror beside her bed, which helps to enlarge the room’s look and feel.
A tufted headboard is elegant and expensive-looking, and perfect for making one feel like a princess! (Plus, how adorable is her dog Guy snuggled up between the sheets here?)
We’ve already established Meghan’s penchant (and flair) for creating stylish displays, so this is no exception. Each element is perfectly positioned, from the vase of fresh flowers to the book, candle and table lamp. The silver metallic element sits beautifully atop a glass table with brass borders – super chic!
Here’s another example of how Meghan’s made her space her own – from the diary bearing her initials to the candle holder-turned-makeup-jar, Meghan shows that it’s all about how you bring your own personality into your space that truly makes it special.
Meghan definitely loves her flowers, so what’s a girl to do when you run out of glass vases? Look for alternatives, of course! Here, she’s used a pastel blue jug that adds a rustic element.
Just, wow! Meghan has an entire closet dedicated to her shoe obsession, which she tries to keep organised. If you’re blessed with enough space for a walk-in wardrobe, make sure to include shelving units for your collections, whether they be shoes, bags or clothes.
Even the guest room looks straight out of a magazine, featuring a clean, neutral palette that’s instantly soothing. A framed artpiece, handpicked by Meghan, brings visual interest to the room.
Meghan seems to have colour-coded her books, which is one way to keep them organised and visually coherent.
If you have a balcony, garden or patio, make like Meghan and incorporate seats to relax upon and enjoy some sunshine. You can’t really go wrong with monochrome black and white stripes either, as they’re a timeless colour combo, and instantly add sophistication to the space.
