At a recent tea party that celebrated the Queen’s 90th birthday in New Delhi, the Duchess was asked how she managed to lose all that baby weight to which she replied, “I am running after my kids!”

2. She drinks green juice. 

A family source says Kate is a fan of juicing and drinks green-coloured juices that typically consists of green vegetables and fruits like celery, cabbage, broccoli and green apple. These are known to boost metabolism and get rid of belly fat.

3. She swims even while on vacation. 

One of Kate’s favourite pastime is swimming which is known to increase one’s stamina as well as help with body toning – no wonder!

4. She follows the Dukan Diet. 

This popular celebrity diet is a high-protein low-carb plan that is made up of lean meat, fish, fat-free dairy products, water, tea and coffee.

There are four key stages to this diet plan:

  • Attack:

Focus on only eating pure proteins such as lean meat, poultry, fish and eggs.

  • Cruise:

Start to alternate all-protein days with mixed protein-and-veg days. Continue this until your weight loss goal is achieved.

  • Consolidation:

Introduce new foods into your diet like cheese, whole grain bread and fruit. You may even do the occasional celebration meal. 

  • Stabilisation:

Here’s where you return to your normal, balanced diet. You should have already lost the weight at this point. But here’s what still needs to be done. Eat three tablespoons of oat bran daily, abide to one protein-only day per week and take the stairs instead of the lift.
