Invest in a good foundation that matches your skin tone, and treats skin as it does its makeup duties. For a glowy, hydrating option, I go to Shiseido Future Solution LX Total Radiance Foundation – my skin tends to be dry in certain areas, and this one gives it a good moisture boost, and it’s texture glides on very smoothly.
When you’re in a hurry, a foundation brush is a handy weapon to have. This IT Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection Brush No. 7 smooths foundation over face (without streaking), and the micro-end is useful for places like the sides of my nose.
LIPSTICK – the bolder the better! It takes a bit of time to put on, but it is transforming! With healthy skin shining through, a bold lip is all you need to make a statement. I’m currently into deeper shades, and Urban Decay’s Vice Lipstick in Shame has just the right amount of red and wine. Practice makes perfect for application – and it will take up a considerable amount of anybody’s 1 minute!
If there’s time, I’ll finish off with highlighter. I pick highlighter over blusher any day, as I naturally have quite a red undertone.Just a quick swish of Becca’s Shimmery Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Moonstone on cheekbones, bridge of nose and cupid bow and I’m good to go.

I knew brows would take the longest time and a brow kit would help me achieve the brow shape I need without taking too long. Pencils are really precise but often require more time to achieve the effect compared to a brow kit.
I have very pale skin so although I skipped foundation, I need bronzer to give bring some colour back to my skin so I don’t look so washed out.
This powder blush is easy to blend and gives skin a really nice wash of colour.
Lipsticks help you to look more put together and if you only have time to apply one product, make it a bright lippie!

This stick foundation is easy to handle and doubles up as a concealer if you need additional coverage in some spots.
I cheated and only put it on my corners of the eye cause lining the lash line usually takes too long.
This gives me fluttery lashes without clumping. The brush is smaller than usual, so it suits Asian eyes more.
A little goes a long way when it comes to the NARS Dual Intensity Blush. It can be used with a wet brush to get a light wash of colour, almost like watercolour, but when used dry, delivers an intense blush colour that lasts all day.
The LANEIGE Two Tone Tint Lip Bar in Cherry Milk is so easy to use and you don’t have to be too precise about application, unlike lipsticks.
I left the highlighter for last just in case I didn’t have enough time. This delivers an shimmery glow that isn’t too intense for use during the day. One of my favourites!

I have oily skin and this foundation keeps the shine under control and spreads easily so application is a breeze.
Sometimes, a mascara is all you need to open up the peepers. This one separates lashes really well and doesn’t clump.
I was looking for multi-tasking products to save time and this one fits the bill. I used it on my lips to give it some colour, then swiped it on my cheeks and blended out for a natural-looking flush.
