Korean Skincare Regime Balm

Face oils are a luxurious addition to your skincare routine. Besides hydration, some oils also provide skin-clarifying and anti-ageing benefits.

They should be applied on damp skin for better absorption, so we recommend using it immediately after a shower or after a toner or softening lotion.

You just rub a couple of drops between your palms to warm up the oil, then press it gently into your skin for the best absorption.

If you find richer oils too greasy, use them as a night treatment.

Its gentle, water-like formula cleanses off even waterproof makeup easily without leaving a greasy film.

Dermalogica Phyto Replenish Oil, $142

Replenish

Facial oils can be highly effective in plumping the skin and inhibiting moisture loss. Oils are lipophilic – that is, they pass through the skin’s lipid layer faster and are better absorbed compared to creams. Dermalogica Phyto Replenish Oil ($142) is so light, it sinks into skin instantly, so you can use it under makeup in the mornings. It has plant-based oils such as camellia to work on restoring the skin’s natural moisture barrier, and sunflower and rosemary extracts to reportedly help prevent free-radical damage.
