Hailing from France, this beauty brand is heavily inspired by the healing powers of nature, with products that are made from 80 to 100 per cent natural ingredients. At the heart of the brand is a belief that ageing stems from inflammation, and its products are formulated to soothe it with potent botanical ingredients.

#3 Les Merveilleuses Ladurée
Most people don’t know this, but the famous French patisserie has a makeup range under its name. Created back in 2012 between Ladurée and Japanese beauty brand Albion, this makeup range draws inspiration from Ladurée’s opulent French roots, with a heavy emphasis on cheek colours.
Must-Buy: Face Colour Rose Ladurée. We were already huge fans of the brand when it launched in 2012 in Japan. The star product, the Face Colour Rose Ladurée features paper sculpted to look like individual rose petals and coated with pigments which forms a delicate-looking blusher. There is nothing else quite like it.

#4 Savvy Minerals by Young Living
For those with sensitive skin, finding the right makeup can be a pain as they might contain ingredients which trigger redness and itchiness. Savvy Minerals uses minerals which are found in nature to create a range of foundations, eye colour, cheek colour and lipsticks that are pigmented and gentle on the skin.
Must-Buy: Savvy Minerals Multi-Tasker. We struggled a bit to choose between this or the Foundation Powder but went with the Multi-Tasker for its versatility. Bascially, it’s a powder which you can apply as an eye shadow or eyeliner. Just wet the brush and mix in with some of the Multi-Tasker on the lid to form a paste.
