Trying to bend stubborn and stiff Asian lashes can be a challenge, and most ladies are doing it wrongly. Instead of holding the curler right under your eye, go at lashes from a 45-degree angle instead. Give the handle several squeezes, then clamp down for half a minute to create a more dramatic curve with better lift.
After applying mascara, add a touch more to the lashes in the middle. This makes your eyes appear rounder and gives you a youthful, sweet gaze.
Scents tend to evaporate more quickly if your skin is really dry, so apply a moisturiser first, then spritz on your fragrance, instead of spritzing on throughout the day.
If you have limp locks, conditioning after you shampoo can make hair seem even flatter and more lifeless. But if you don’t want to miss this hydrating and reparative step, do it before you shampoo. Not only will it be easier to foam up your mane afterwards, your tresses will be bouncier and feel less weighed down.
To get sexy rumpled locks, spread a pea-sized amount of moisturiser (yes, body moisturiser) on your palms, then run your hands through towel-dried but still damp hair. As your strands dry, the product will create a light hold gives tresses texture and a light wave.
If air-conditioning or cold weather overseas is seriously drying out your skin, regular hand creams might not cut it. This sounds weird, but you might want to try foot cream instead. They’re way more moisturising – think of what they do for cracked heels! – and since they were formulated to prevent feet from sliding around in shoes, they’re absorbed more quickly and are a lot less sticky.
