Actress Margot Robbie wore this gorgeous fishtail braid to the Suicide Squad press conference in Miami. It’s basically creating a fishtail braid using the hair from the sides of your head and then tying them back. Perfect for a casual date or a wedding!
This beautiful creation also belongs to Margot Robbie. Also known as reverse dutch braid, it only takes a bit of practice to achieve:
1. First, flip your hair upside down, then brush through and prep with a spray to give your hair a better hold.
2. Then, starting at the nape of your neck, begin braiding as you would a dutch braid.
3. Stop when you reach at or just above your ears, then twist the remaining strands into an easy top knot.
4. Secure with an elastic band and bobby pins!
Pretty Little Liars actress Shay Mitchell’s elegant crown braid (or halo braid) is total hair royalty. It’s perfect for beating the heat and looking chic at the same time. Get the tutorial here.
For a more unique and daring look, do like Emma Roberts by having dutch braids on only one side and leaving the other half of your hair in textured waves.

Another gorgeous way to update the basic ponytail is to wrap a thin braid around it, like so. Simply leave a section of hair out when you tie your hair up, braid it then twist it in a spiral down the length of your ponytail. Tres chic!
