To speed things up in the kitchen, equipment is key.

“The use of equipment is very important as it can really assist with the efficiency of baking and cooking. For example, cakes can be cooked in an air fryer instead of the oven with half the time,” shares Janice Wong, pastry chef, as well as the owner of 2am:dessert bar, and her eponymous sweet concept, Janice Wong Singapore. “Having the right tools, like a 0.1 weighing scale, different size baking bowls, measurement tools (cups and spoons), and microwave ovens can also be useful.”
