Netflix has confirmed the production of South Korean dating reality show Single’s Inferno 2.

The first season of the breakout reality dating show ran from December 2021 through to January 2022, and had a global audience hooked almost right from the start of the season. The show was set on ‘Hell Island’, a remote island where single participants travelled to in search of romance and had to couple up.

Thanks to the popularity of the show, many of its participants rose to stardom, the most famous of whom was content creator Song Ji-A. However, her promising career later crumbled when she was discovered to be wearing fake designer goods.

What can you expect from season two? A lot more heat, Netflix promises. The streaming platform will also be reportedly recruiting participants via its official social media channels.
