South Korean actor Lee Kwang Soo will be ending his stint with South Korean television channel SBS’s popular variety and game show “Running Man”.

The 35-year-old got into a car accident in February last year and suffered a fracture in his right ankle. He took a short hiatus from ‘Running Man’ then to undergo surgery. But even with regular rehabilitation treatment, it has reportedly been tough for him to cope with the show’s recordings.

According to Korean entertainment website Soompi, his agency King Kong by Starship stated that his last recording will be on May 24, 2021, and that that ‘he needed time to recuperate, both physically and mentally.”

Lee is one of the seven original members of “Running Man” since its inception in 2010, best known for his cheekiness and hilarious antics.
