No more waiting for hours on end to catch Korean drama episodes, or stumbling upon unwanted spoilers online! You can now watch Man X Man at the same time as it airs back in Korea on Netflix and be on the same page as our Korean drama friends!
Park Hae Jin (Cheese In The Trap) and Park Sung Woong (Remember- War Of The Sun) have become the faces of Man X Man, together with Kim Min Jung. This JTBC drama series also boasts an array of veteran supporting actors, such as Jeong Man Sik and Cheon Ho Jin.
What is a Korean drama without bromance? With the unusual bromance between Park Hae Jin and Park Sung Woong taking centre stage in this drama, the teasers have hinted at a couple of adorable moments from this couple. Don’t forget to tune in tonight to see how this bromance takes off!
For the veteran Korean drama fans out there, we know the pain of waiting for the subtitles of our favourite dramas. But now, with Man X Man being pre-produced, the simulcast of this series will come fully furnished with English subtitles!
When two characters that cannot be more different become part of a bromance, with the additional touch of a fangirl-turned-manager, there is no doubt that we will be treated to an hour of laughter. With the underlying tension in this spy-thriller drama, these comic moments will be very much a delight to the eyes and ears.
When a stoic bodyguard meets a bubbly fangirl, there’s a multitude of sweet moments that we can expect. The developing love triangle (or square) amidst the darker background of the story is sure to bring a smile to your faces.
If that is not incentive enough to tune in to Man X Man tonight, then what is? In a live show via Naver V app, the lead actor, Park Hae Jin revealed that there will be some scenes that “will feature me half-naked”. During this live chat, he shared that he had been preparing for the role by dieting and training for stunt performances.
While the cast bring to live a drama, the crew behind them is the make or break for a drama series. For Man X Man, this hardly seems to be an issue. Written by Kim Won Suk of Descendants Of The Sun and produced by Remember’s Lee Hyung Suk, it’s safe to say this series is in safe hands.
The roles that the actors have taken on are different for them. In an interview with Esquire, Park Hae Jin shared that this role is very different from his previous roles and gave him more freedom to depict his character’s personality and actions in any way he wanted to. Park Sung Woong, on the other hand, joked about playing a character with so many lines for the first time.
If you are not yet convinced to catch this highly-anticipated drama, then maybe a cameo by Song Joong Ki might just be your trigger. After his successful stint at Captain Yoo Si Jin, the actor will make an appearance as an assistant director named Yeo Woon Kwang.
