Calling all who love dogs and animals! Join OSCA’s team of volunteers in areas of fundraising, advocacy and events management. The shelter is managed almost entirely by volunteers and you’d need to put in a few hours a week.
This animal welfare charity was set up to support the needs of local animal welfare in Singapore. The organisation works hang in hang with various organaisations to help local community dogs and cats. Lend a hand with their publicity and events efforts or help out at the CAS Adoption Centre.
Formed in 1999, the organisation develops strategies and progreammes to stablise and reduce the population of stray cats in Singapore by working closely with town councils and government bodies.
Find out how to can you be a part of their team to improve the welfare of cats in the country here. They need volunteers who can commit in the medium to long-term period as co-ordinators, community cat caregives/mediators or take up management roles.
Dedicated to rabbit welfare and awareness, HRSS’ volunteers educate the public on being responsible pet owners through their popular schools’ programme.
You can also contribute articles on rabbit care and behaviour to their website and quarterly newsletter or volunteer to provide proper rabbit care guidance and couselling to new rabbit owners.
Volunteer with ASD if you love working with dogs. The organisation has an adoption and rescue centre in Kranji and does sterilisation and logistics work.
You can also contribute behind the scenes with website maintenance, publicity and fund raising. ASD is a non-profit organisation with the mission to improve the welfare of abandoned and stray dogs in Singapore.
Be an advocate for the animal welfare cause by volunteering as an individual or corporate team. Hands on volunteering opportunities include cleaning animal enclosures and surrounding area and taking the dogs out for regular morning walks.
They also need people to man the animal shelter office and the SPCA merchandise shop.
Housing 700 dogs and cats (including strays, abadoned, traumatised, abused and rescued animals), is no easy feat.
ALL counts on volunteers to clean the shelter grounds, fix up facilities, prepare animal food, shower and walkt the dogs and help out with adoption drives. Founded in 2002, ALL operates on a strictly no-kill policy.
This volunteer-run organisation is dedicated to ensuring that Singapore’s many street dogs are well taken care of and receive the love they deserve.
