Based in Shinmiyangyo, or the US expedition to Korea in the late 19th century, Mr. Sunshine tells the story of a Korean boy born into a family of house servants who runs away to board an American warship, later to return to his homeland as a US marine officer. Ironically, he falls in love with an aristocrat’s daughter and discovers the dark scheme to colonize the country from where he once fled.
Lee Byung-hun, who played Storm Shadow in the G.I. Joe series and Han Cho Bai in Red 2, takes on the role of the US marine officer Eugene Choi, while Kim Tae-ri who came into the spotlight with The Handmaiden, will play the aristocrat’s daughter, Go Ae-sin. Yoo Yeon-seok, Kim Min-jung, and Byun Yo-han also join the cast playing key roles within the story.
Something In The Rain is a love story about the budding relationship between Yoon Jin-ah (played by Son Ye-jin) and her best friend’s younger brother, Seo Joon-hee (played by Jung Hae-in), who have known each other since childhood. The story begins when Joon-hee reunitereunited with Jin-ah after completing his overseas assignment. Working in the same office building, their feelings for each other grow through different daily encounters – both intentional and unintentional – and their friendship slowly transforms into something different and sweet.

Man to Man is a new series directed by producer Chang-min Lee, who worked on popular K-drama series like Giant, Bride of the Sun, Birth of a Beauty, and Remember: War of the Son. The latter was written by Kim Won-seok, who was also recognized for co-writing Descendants of the Sun, one of the most successful K-drama series in 2016.
Man to Man stars Park Hae-jin who has been known for roles in acclaimed works including My Love from the Star, Bad Guys, and Cheese in the Trap. The drama tells the story of Kim Seol Woo (played by Park Hae Jin), who becomes a ghost bodyguard for a top hallyu star, the secret “men” who surround him, and their mysterious exploits.
