If you’re a fan of shopping at Don Don Donki, the Japanese lifestyle brand is coming to Jewel Changi Airport. And it’ll be decked in a fun travel and aviation theme for a whole new shopping experience.

Slated to be one of the largest Don Don Donki stores in Singapore (it currently has 10), the Jewel Changi outlet will be located at Basement One, and will span 18,000 sq ft. It is expected to open its doors in the first quarter of 2023.

You can look forward to shopping a large variety of fresh Japanese produce, ready-to-eat meals, alcohol, cosmetics, household items, and more. And of course, there’ll be its iconic “Miracle Shopping” jingle.

A special display corner will also be set up, where the store will present its latest offerings specially curated from Japan. If you’re feeling peckish, a range of ready-to-eat meals await. And the dining space overlooks an open-concept kitchen so you can watch all the action while you tuck into your meals.

Sake lovers, you’ll want to make a beeline for the dedicated sake corner, which promises various types of sake from all over Japan – just look for the traditional sake barrels on display.

Says Satoshi Machida, President of Pan Pacific Retail Management Singapore, “Singapore is home to the largest number of DON DON DONKI stores in Asia. As we enter our fifth year of operations in Singapore, we hope to bring about a new experience for our Singapore fans with the Jewel store. Jewel as a shopping destination allows us to be creative in showcasing our products, making it more than just a shopping trip for customers, but a fun outing. We are excited to present our first ever aviation-themed store here in Singapore.”
