The popular annual Mother Tongue Languages Symposium (MTLS) is back, with a virtual twist this year.
Just chill at home with your kids, get your devices ready and explore the online activities from August 29, 9.30am, at the website (www.mtls.edu.sg).
Into its ninth year, the event will be launched by the Minister for Education and Second Minister for Finance, Mr Lawrence Wong.
Expect lots of fun interactive experiences designed to help your kids embrace a life-long love for their Mother Tongue Language, whether it’s Mandarin, Malay or Tamil Language.
Revolving around the theme “Flourish in Our Mother Tongue Languages Wonderland”, your family can look forward to a virtual gallery comprising 35 e-exhibits, 18 e-sharing sessions and an interactive Online Quest.
You can even go online shopping to buy a range of curated resources for your kids’ learning.
Here are some of the highlights you can expect at the e-MTLS.
Virtual Gallery: Explore innovative practices
Visit the exhibits by preschools, schools, community partners and the Ministry of Education (MOE) and learn about their innovative approaches to promoting the effective learning of Mother Tongue Languages.
