In sad news from K-drama world, Goblin’s Kim Go Eun and Shin Ha Kyun have broken up after just 8 months dating. The couple had naturally drifted apart due to their busy schedules and have decided to call it quits.

An initial report revealed that a source close Kim Go Eun and Shin Ha Kyun said they had recently broken up due to both of them having busy schedules.

It has now been confirmed by both actor’s agencies that they have separated. Their company said, “The two of them broke up at the end of February. They will still remain on good terms as actors and agency junior and senior.”

Kim Go Eun and Shin Ha Kyun announced their relationship in August 2016, saying that they had started dating around June. The two of them managed to overcome their 17 year age difference thanks to a shared common hobby of scuba diving. Shin Ha Kyun also mentored Kim Go Eun in acting and she even transferred to the agency he is signed to.

Kim Go Eun recently starred in tvN‘s mega-hit drama Goblin. Shin Ha Kyun’s movies Wicked Woman and Room 7 will be released later in 2017.
