The 29-year-old left the entertainment scene in 2012 and is best known for his role in Jack Neo’s I Not Stupid in 2002. Among the guests in attendance was Joshua’s former I Not Stupid co-star Shawn Lee (pictured, right).
“I had a live band for the night, and I performed Ed Sheeran’s ‘Perfect’ and Elvis Presley’s ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’, which I also played on the guitar,” he told 8 Days. “I also performed Bruno Mars’ ‘Rest Of My Life’ while playing the piano.”
“It wouldn’t be so beautifully executed if it wasn’t for his efficient planning and hard work (like driving all over the island to get things done, practicing his guitar/piano for his performance late at night even after a tiring day at work, liaising with the different vendors etc etc),” his wife Shannon wrote in an Instagram post.
He proposed in Bali
Joshua had proposed to her on their fourth trip to Bali, at Potato Head Beach Club. “Thank you for being the best partner one could ever have,” he wrote in an Instagram post on Dec 22.
The excited first-time daddy is asking his Instagram followers for suggestions of creative names for his son. He did not reveal how far along Shannon’s pregnancy is.
On fatherhood, Joshua also told 8 Days: “We’re worried about our finances as raising a kid can be financially taxing, but of course, we will do our best for our child.
“And you know what, we’re definitely not stopping at one!”
