Local actor Desmond Tan has gotten married with a low-key wedding in France.
In a series of wedding photos uploaded on Dec 7, the 35-year-old shared, “I have found the one whom my soul loves” Solomon 3:4. Once upon a time, I became yours and you became mine. We stay together through tears and laughter because that’s what they call happily ever after.”
The dreamy photos show the pair, with the identity of his wife still a mystery, in France with an elegant building in the backdrop. Tan donned a suit by Ralph Lauren, while his wife wore Ivory Bridal for the occasion. They also flew Desmond’s two dogs, Hoshi and Udon, over for the wedding, too. Cute!
The two are university sweethearts of 12 years, says his management The Celebrity Agency.
According to 8 Days, the pair have been dating since 2010, but he’s been insistent on keeping her identity under wraps to protect her privacy and let her enjoy the quiet life she currently has.
On his decision to get hitched, he shared with 8Days, “I’m such a workaholic. I’m always working and on-the-go, so I have never seriously thought (about marriage) before. But I’ve been thinking more about it recently and I really hope to have a kid when I’m not too old.”
