Congrats are in order for Sheila Sim and her husband Deon Woo! Just last week, we spoke to the actress and former model on her experience as a first-time mum, how she’s prepped for the baby, and her pregnancy journey during the current Covid-19 situation.
Earlier today (Sep 22), she took to Instagram to share the news of the arrival of her bundle of joy, Layla, who weighs 2.86kg. It is her first child together with banker husband Deon Woo.
She accompanied the photo with a heartfelt caption: “It’s so surreal to hold you in my arms today, you little angel. Your first cry is the best sound I’ve ever heard in my life. It touched my heart like nothing else ever would.
I love you. I loved you before we met. And I’ll love you for the rest of my life. Thank you for choosing us. You’re the best thing that happened to me.”
Sheila tied the knot to Deon in 2018, and announced the news of her pregnancy earlier this April. It was also originally reported that she would be going through a Cesarean delivery in October.
