Nearly four years after setting up shop in Taiwan and subsequently Shanghai, homegrown singer JJ Lin is finally bringing his coffee chain to Singapore.

The 41-year-old star and coffee lover first made the announcement via his Instagram page, sharing that it’s a collab with Marina Bay Sands. According to a press release, the flagship cafe will launch within the lobby of the iconic ArtScience Museum in 2023, while a sneak preview will be made available through a 90-day pop-up at the Museum’s outdoor Rain Oculus from Sep 30, 2022, 12pm.

The singer says, “I am thrilled to team up with Marina Bay Sands to bring Miracle Coffee to my home, Singapore. Since this is our first time setting up a pop-up for Miracle Coffee, we wanted a scenic location that can stage the intimate scene of coffee lovers revelling in a smooth cup of coffee while soaking in views of my beautiful city.”

He adds, “There is no other location that is more suitable than the iconic ArtScience Museum, a popular destination for museum-goers, city wanderers as well as cycling enthusiasts and joggers around Marina Bay.”

There are currently four Miracle Coffee stores, with three in Taiwan and one in Shanghai. While the Shanghai outlet sells mostly coffee, a couple of its Taipei branches also dole out pastries, cakes and brunch options.

Coffee options range from espresso-based drinks like Americano, cappuccino, and latte to filter coffee and cold brews. Its hand-dripped aromatic brews feature single-origin espresso (SOE) beans sourced from specialty coffee producers around the world, including Panama, Kenya and Ethiopia.

You can also catch the local team, led by the brand’s master barista, whipping up its signature single-serve pour-over up close at the outdoor kiosk. And as an ode to a local favourite, there’ll be a Singapore-exclusive beverage Kaya Cloud.
