After first landing on our shores in last December, with its inaugural outlet located at Plaza Singapura, Five Guys is now making its way into the heartlands.
And now North-Easties can look forward to having the famous American burger joint, brought in by the Zouk Group, at their doorstep, because its second store in Singapore will be located in Nex, Serangoon.
Currently slated to be opened in early 2021, you can expect its hallmark red and white exteriors, as well as its iconic menu. Zouk Group also shared that Five Guys be will be opening its first Malaysian store in Genting Highlands.
For those not in the know, Five Guys prides itself on fresh ingredients (no freezers or microwaves!) and its juicy hand-moulded patties. It has a menu that comprises four basic burger options – the Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Baconburger and Bacon Cheeseburger. The fresh-to-order burgers can then be customised with the works: 15 free toppings, which includes everything from mayo to grilled mushrooms, onions and a steak sauce.
Pair your burger with the Five Guys fries, which use fresh, hand-cut potatoes deep-fried in 100% peanut oil – the brand says this is a healthier oil that offers a buttery taste.
What else is on the menu: Hotdogs (also customisable) and an assortment of sandwiches. Then, of course, wash it all down with the famous Five Guys milkshake, which you can pair with a choice of 11 toppings.
It recently launched the Lotus Biscoff Milkshake in the UK, so we’re hoping that makes its way here, too.
