Singapore Airlines stewardesses are known for their impeccable grooming both on flight and outside of work. Here’s their secret to looking great all the time.

Since cabin air is dehydrating, and air stewardesses wash their hands often, they always use hand cream to keep their hands soft. Even stewards use them!
A light spritz of facial mist will not only perk you up, but it helps skin stay hydrated as well. Plus point for using it in our weather, it cools skin down and prevents redness too!
Yes, the tip you’ve been reading for the past 10 years is still relevant. Drinking enough fluids will also ensure that skin looks supple and hydrated.
While most people put on lip balm before lipstick, some SQ girls prefer lip gloss to keep their puckers moisturised throughout the flight.
If you have a bob cut, blow dry your hair using a large round brush, then shape with hair clay before spraying lightly to set it. Don’t use too much hair spray or it will look flat.
The secret to perfect-looking manicure? Touch ups. Daily bumps and stresses might cause nail polish to chip. While proper touch ups can be one at home, a quick coat while in the toilet (use the hand dryer to dry the nails!) will hide embarrassing chips during dinner dates.
Lip liners do a great job at defining the shape of the lip and preventing lipstick from bleeding or feathering. Kylie Jenner may be the one who popularised the use of lip liners these days, but SQ girls did it first.
On their off days, most SQ girls put on light makeup so that their skin can take a break. When working on long haul flights, their makeup can stay on for as long as 15 hours, so letting skin breath or even putting on tinted moisturisers and BB creams can help skin take a breather.
While it’s nice to have perfectly manicured nails, they need to take a break from all the chemicals as well. When not wearing their signature nail polish, most SQ girls don’t wear nail polish, or opt to use nail strengtheners instead.
Fast drying top coats like the Seche VIte Fast Dry Top Coat saves time when it comes to putting on nail polish. That way, you can get ready in a jiffy and still look great.
