1. Peanut Butter

Peanut butter is a versatile ingredient so whether  you eat it with a piece of whole grain toast, add it to some yoghurt or even eat it with apple slices, it’s all good.

2. Fruits

Fresh fruit is always great to have in the fridge because you can make plenty of healthy snacks with them. From healthy smoothies and low fat yoghurt, fresh fruit is always good for you.

3. Cut Vegetables

Whether it’s carrots, celery or cucumber, cut vegetables make for a great snack. You can eat them with homemade hummus, serve them as crudite or eat them plain!

4. Chicken Breast

It’s good to have some lean chicken breast (or other lean meats) in the fridge so you can whip up a healthy meal pretty quickly.

5. Lemon

Besides its detoxing properties, lemon can also be used for cleaning and beauty purposes.

8. Milk or Almond Milk

This depends on whether you’re lactose intolerant or not. However, both milk and almond milk are great because they keep you full for longer in between meals.

9. Miso Soup Base/Paste

A miso soup based can be used as a marinade, to make soup and even salad dressings!

10. Whole Wheat Wraps

Whole wheat wraps are great for a delicious snack. Add your chicken breast, vegetables and some homemade miso salad sauce and you’re good to go!
