Rich in sleep-inducing amino acid, tryptophan, sesame seeds relax your body and mind. Sesame seeds are also high in carbohydrates so you feel more tired easily.
Just like sesame seeds, cottage cheese contains tryptophan. So, no matter how delicious it is, limit it to a few pieces.

A great source of magnesium, pumpkin seeds can calm your body down and relieve stress so you’re more relaxed and ready for bed.

Foods with high fat content tends to leave you feeling tired and drowsy. As your body takes more energy to break down these fats, more energy is sapped out of you.
