As it turns out, the Internet loves rainbows. Here’s why multi-coloured is the new black.
This rainbow make-up look by Temptalia has been making its rounds on the Internet for ages, but rainbow never goes out of style, and we love how she made it look wearable despite the full colour spectrum here.
In case you want your rainbow to be more subtle, this rainbow eyeliner does the trick. Line eyes with a creamy white eyeliner (the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk works perfectly), and load the colours on top of it so that it adheres well. The colours also show up better when applied against white.
This look is ideal for those who own a couple of coloured eye liners they’d like to experiment with. Layer coloured eyeliner on top of your regular black eyeliner, and go crazy with eye shadow!
For those who lament that their rainbows can’t be seen cause of their hooded lids, try applying them on the lower lash line.
Everyone has been going crazy over this rainbow highlighter from Etsy (which is temporarily closed due to high demand), and we can see why! It’s almost like a light prism hitting your cheekbones — having a subtle wash of rainbow while accentuating the cheekbones is definitely a trend we can get behind.
We think you might end up taking days in the salon chair to achieve this look, but the results seem worth it — we do anything (almost!) to look like an anime princess.
The “secret” rainbow or “hidden” rainbow hair nests underneath the crown so you can tie it up and show it off during the weekend. Perfect for jobs with strict dress codes.
You can’t tie it up, but who says rainbow hair is only for long hair?
We showed off plenty of different French tip manicures you can create with just two nail polish colours, but here’s one that makes them look like candy!
One of the easiest nail designs to create, just sponge on the colours for rainbow ombre nails.
This design requires a little more work, but is more forgiving in terms of neatness. Just run the colours over white nails with a thin brush and you’re done.
Amp up the rainbow game with metallic nail polish for extra shine.
