5 Causes Of Skin Redness
#1 The food you eat

Food that contains spices and sauces like chili, white pepper, black pepper and paprika can make your face flush, but did you know that tomato, vinegar, spinach, peas, banana, chocolate, and even yoghurt cause irritation which leads to skin redness?

Try eliminating these foods from your diet to see if the redness improves. It might be an indication of mild allergy.

#3 The weather

The heat and humidity is unforgiving and can cause damage to your skin. Stay out of the sun, and put on copious amount of sunscreen when you’re heading out.

#3 The products you use

If you have sensitive skin, facial products which contains essential oils and fragrance might trigger redness and itching. If you don’t know which product is causing the redness, try eliminating one at a time from your regimen. Choose products that are fragrance free to avoid irritating your skin.

#5 Your emotions

Stress and anxiety can play a big part in triggering skin redness. It can be hard, but practice mindfulness and be aware of fluctuations in your mood. Breathing exercises and mediation helps to keep emotions in check.
