5 Homemade Remedies That Can Treat Dandruff
1. Baking Soda

Baking soda has a low pH and helps to fight the fungi which causes dandruff. Mix a handful of baking soda with water before thoroughly massaging it onto your scalp.

After applying the baking soda, you can skip shampooing and condition your hair after washing the baking soda off.

2. Coconut Oil

Coconut oil has anti-bacterial properties that help to fight dandruff.

Work a handful of coconut oil into your scalp and let it sit for about one to two hours. Rinse it off before shampooing.

3. Tea Tree Oil

4. Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera soothes the itchiness of your scalp caused by dandruff with its cooling effects. Cut the leaf and squeeze the liquid directly onto the scalp.

5. Olive Oil

Olive oil is great for moisturising your scalp and preventing itchiness. Simply apply about a teaspoonful of olive oil on your scalp and leave it overnight before washing it off with shampoo in the morning.
