Bananas

Avocadoes

Without a doubt, avocados are good for substituting heavy cream or any kind of dairy as they contain monounsaturated fat, in other words, the “good” kind of fat. However, by overeating this fruit with the impression that they are healthy, still means that you are packing on the calories as everything adds up in the end.

Figs

Besides the fact that figs give you a good dose of fibre and potassium, a cup of raw figs contain about 27g of sugar, which is almost the same as your average candy bar. We suggest cutting back on this sweet treat if you’re trying to lose any weight.

Mangoes

The best way to go about it is to look at mangoes as purely a dessert and not a fruit. This succulent fruit seals in a high content of sugar which also means a high-calorie content. Although they do provide a good amount of vitamin C and also fibre, you can find these nutrients easily in other fruits like apples, oranges and guavas, without the added calorie count.
