No two person’s skin is the same, says Skin Inc Training and Business Director Donna Seow. “Even if you have a twin, you will not have the same skin concerns as you may be leading different lifestyles, eating a different diet, and experiencing different hormonal changes. Hence, a customised skincare approach works to better target each individual’s skincare problems and needs.”
That’s the key beauty message The Weekly readers discovered at the Skin Inc Bespoke Beauty Workshop at the recently-opened Skin Inc Supplement Bar at Scotts Square on November 5, 2016.
Readers not only got to take the Skin identity Test online to find out their personal skin needs – this analyses then customises a My Daily Dose Serum Cocktail containing three of Skin Inc’s range of serums; they also discovered how they could do their own facials at home with key products from the Skin Inc range. Reader Sharon Goh got to experience the Facial In A Flash, a treatment that is also offered at the Skin Inc Supplement Bar, which comprises a cleanse, peel (with one of the brand’s tops-selling product, Pure Revival Peel) as well as application of a customised cocktail of serums. Skin Inc therapist Peggy demonstrated how the Optimiser Voyage Tri-light gadget could be used to aid absorption of ingredients from the serum as well how the coloured lights had different functions: Red renews, yellow revives and blue alleviates.
After the demonstration, readers had a chance to shop (with an exclusive discount for the day), and each went home happily with a goodie bag comprising Skin Inc’s Dewy In A Flash ($39), as well as a Facial In A Flash treatment voucher ($45) so they can pop by any time for a quickie facial pick-me-up.
