From having to wear masks while we’re out to dealing with the increasingly warm weather, anyone with long hair has their work cut out for them in Singapore! So, if you’re looking to switch up your hairstyle, why not opt for a low-maintenance hairstyle? Here are some examples, as seen on some of our favourite Korean actresses.
Dip-dye is back and best served on short bobs, as seen on K-Drama actress, Kim Da-mi. You can DIY with a box-dye, but we’d recommend going to a salon.
Brush the flyaways off your face with this chic sophisticated bun inspired by Han Hyo-joo. First, comb your hair to a side part and tie it up into a ponytail. Twist the ponytail into your desired look (make sure to leave some ends sticking out), secure the bun with another elastic, and spray hair into place for a clean finish.

Descendants of the Sun actress Song Hye-Kyo is definitely is having a major hair moment now with her elegant mid-length waves. If you want to recreate the look, all you need is a hair curler. Otherwise, request for a Korean Soft Perm at the salon.

The on- and off-again redhead Lee Sung-kyung is not one to shy away from the ordinary. When she’s not working the red carpet, the Dr. Romantic starlet can be found rocking two pigtail braids and wispy baby hair held in place with a good hair spray and mousse.
If you’re tired of maintaining long hair, let this chop sported by Jin Seo be your inspiration to go short. Style it up with hair mousse or hair spray and you’re good to go.
