If you’ve ever wanted to look and feel like a Victoria’s Secret Angel, Barre is the way to go.
Taking inspiration from ballet, yoga and pilates, it involved the use of a ballet barre to keep your body balanced while doing exercises that focuses on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a set of muscles).
It engages the whole body and improves posture, balance and flexibility.

Looking for something tougher?
Take your cue from Adriana Lima who recently picked up Crossfit.
It’s characterised by high-intensity movements performed for an allotted period, and a typical workout consists of exercises like deadlifts, squats, pull-ups and skipping.
It incorporates aspects of gymnastics and weightlifting to create the ultimate strength and conditioning workout.
A strong core and some lifting experience is preferable before taking it on.

If you love music and variety, give kickboxing a go.
Somewhere between Zumba and boxing, kickboxing requires you to move to the beat as you engage different muscle groups throughout your body with kicks, punches and squats.
The workout torches calories, improves reflexes and tones muscles, all without the need of much equipment. And with a new routine and music during each session, you can be sure every lesson would be nothing short of fun.

Rebounding, also known as the trampoline workout, has won over many celebs, with the likes of Julianne Hough embracing their inner kid.
Jumping on a trampoline activates a wider range of muscle groups compared to running and is considered a low-impact exercise, so you’re less likely to hurt your joints.
All in all, this workout is sure to leave you panting and smiling.
