Korean women are serious about sun protection so when we found out that on top of relying on BB cushions equipped with SPF, they also use solid sunscreen sticks for reapplication, we were hook!
Here are some of our favourites:
Why we love it: Despite being slightly bigger than your usual Fresh Sugar Lip Balm, this stick sunscreen smells just as good — even better, actually!
It’s got double the protection and can be used on lips, face and even your eye area. The waterproof formulation also means that it’s perfect for active ladies.
Why we love it: Made with herbal extracts, this sunscreen has a very fresh scent. Reapplication is also easy thanks to the fact that this sunscreen doesn’t leave a white cast on skin.
Besides using it all over your face, you can also apply it onto arms, legs and your neck.
Why we love it: This sunscreen stick is a lot bigger than most, making application quick and fuss-free. We’re also fans of the subtle scent and how it leaves us with a slightly dewy finish.
Why we love it: First off, the packaging is adorable and makes it easy to find in a big bag. Besides protecting you from the sun, this sunscreen is also formulated with ingredients that leave you with dewy skin. Choose from a set of four colours.
Why we love it: Free of chemicals, added fragrances and other irritants, this sunscreen is perfect both for adults and kids.
Instead of being absorbed into skin like most sunscreens, this formula from California Baby creates a barrier so you can wash it off later on and not worry about leaving residues on skin.
Why we love it: It’s formulated without added fragrance, parabens and is non-comedogenic. It’s also water-resistant — this means it’ll last in our humid Singapore weather.
Why we love it: This soothing sunscreen is made with shea butter, providing moisture while it protects skin. It’s also got a really light fragrance and was created to be applied on sensitive skin areas like around your eyes, lips and nose.
Why we love it: We love how this sunscreen is tilted slightly, allowing you to apply it evenly on hard to reach places like your nose and chin.
