Most recently made famous by Kim Kardashian, the marshmallow hair trend isn’t quite white or gray, it’s sort of silver but can be layered on with tones of purple, pink and blue — which means you can easily wear it for work if you’re able to tweak the colour!
Just remember to load up on coloured shampoo to keep this colour looking fresh.
Exposed roots have been around for a long time but there is a way of doing it right without making it look like you didn’t have enough time to get your roots touched up. The trick is to keep the roots at a minimum length, anything beyond three inches looks unpolished.
Alternatively, opt for the balayage style where hair goes from dark to light but in a more natural way.
Pantone’s colour of the year has made its way into hair and we’re not complaining. That said though, to recreate this look for the office, pick darker shades or go for streaks to contrast dark Asian hair.
Root beer is the perfect hair colour for women working in offices with strict office guidelines. It features a delicious mix of caramel highlights and lowlights. Just opt for lesser highlights if you’re worried about it showing too much in the office.
Before you panic, understand that teal can in fact be made darker to fit work place rules.
Alternatively, you could get darker roots and opt for teal ends. This way, when the light hits your hair, it’ll reveal the gorgeous hair colour.
